Description: The Carver High School collection is a compilation of memorabilia donated by many different Carver alumni and former teachers. Carver High School was one of the first black high schools in Palm Beach County and was attended by students from Deerfield Beach to Lake Worth until additional schools were built. High school integration was complete in Delray Beach in 1970 and Carver High School closed in 1971.
The Collection is divided into six series:
- Series 1: Documents
- Series 2: Newspaper
- Series 3: Yearbook
- Series 4: Programs/Books/Documents
- Series 5: Photographs
- Series 6: Carver High School Photo Collection
- Series 7: Spady Museum Photo Objects
