The John G. Riley Center/Museum’s 11th Annual Cuff Links and Pearls Pioneer Gala will be held on Friday, February 20, 2015, from 7:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. at the Goodwood Carriage House. The purpose of the Applause for the Pioneers Gala is to support the Riley Internship Program and to pay tribute, posthumously, to individuals who by an action or creation have been trailblazers, going before, preparing the way for others.
In 2015, the Riley Museum is recognizing the Strong & Jones Funeral Home as a continuation of a multi-year theme honoring family business legacies. As a family-owned and operated enterprise, the Strong Jones Funeral Home has earned a reputation for providing the highest quality funeral services, with the personal attention and professionalism for over 67 years.
The professional staff at Strong Jones Funeral Home is committed to providing dignified, respectful and compassionate assistance to every family. Recognizing that each family is unique, the staff provides personalized assistance through meaningful services that celebrate life, honor legacies and encourage a strong sense of community. The names of Mamie J. Strong & Elbert W. Jones will be enshrined on the Riley Museum Pioneers Scroll in the new Riley Visitor Center. We certainly hope that you will be able to join us in honoring their valuable contributions to the Tallahassee community.
Given that this has consistently been a sell-out event, we strongly encourage you to secure your tables or individual tickets
