The Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Breakfast will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2015, 8-10 AM at the Punta Gorda Middle School, 1007 Education Avenue in Punta Gorda.
This year’s theme: Stand Up For Justice
Mrs. Lorene Haynes Hughes will be awarded the Charles Bailey Lifetime Achievement Award posthumously. Elementary, middle, and high school Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Essay Contest winners will recite winning essays and be awarded prizes.
Cost: $12.50 adults; $6.00 children
