Kuumba Village: Formerly Make-A-Gift Village Combined with 2020 Kwanzaa Celebration
Kuumba (formerly Make-A-Gift) Village will feature live performances by local artists, and food and professional artisans on hand to assist you and your children in creating your own masterpieces to give during the holiday season. This year, Kuumba Village will be combined with the annual Kwanzaa Celebration. Kwanzaa is a week-long, annual celebration held in the United States and other nations of the African diaspora in the Americas to honor African heritage in African-American culture. It is observed from December 26 to January 1, culminating in gift-giving and a feast. The Spady Museum will condense the week-long celebration into one day of community observation. Be a part of the reaffirmation of the individual, culture, family and environment.
Location: (Outdoors) Spady Cultural Heritage Museum, 170 NW 5th Ave., Delray Beach, FL 33444
